Abstract

16,028. Hollis, M. S. Dec. 23, 1910, [Convention date]. Actuating.-A gas-cock actuating-device, comprising a key normally held out of engagement with the plug by a spring, is provided with means for positively holding the key in or out of engagement with the plug. The key 28 is provided with a stem 23 sliding in a tubular extension 19 screwed to the valve casing and provided with a head 25 having a conical recess adapted to engage a conical projection 18 on the plug. The stem 23 has two grooves 32, 31 adapted to be engaged by a screw 33 for holding the key in or out of engagement with the plug.
