13,555. Price, S. L. June 6. Clutches, friction.-Relates to cone clutches, particularly applicable to the driving of lighting- dynamos on motor-cars. A cone g slides on the driven shaft a and is pressed into engagement with the driving-pulley b by a spring h. The clutch is disengaged by the action of a Bowden wire &c. secured to a non-rotatable member k engaging the cone g through a ball bearing m. A casing o encloses the whole. The shaft a may be formed hollow to slip over and form an extension of the dynamo spindle.
