Abstract
2934. Braun, L., and K÷glmeier, A. Feb. 6. Hand - trucks. - Relates to hand - trucks of the kind in which the frame can be set in an inclined position, and a sliding carrier can be raised and lowered thereon by winding-gear. The side members A of the frame are formed with horizontal flanges having slots through which project rollers 26, and the side members B of the carrier 2 which slides upon the rollers are of inverted T-section. U-shaped guide - clips 3 fixed to the carrier 2 near one end engage under the horizontal flanges of the members A and similar clips 4 fixed to the members A engage over the outer flanges of the members B. To accommodate round loads, an auxiliary base 22 with an upturned outer edge is adapted to be removably fastened upon the base 5 of the carrier 2 by pins 25, Fig. 4.
