Abstract

The four feet of each case consist of a shaped wire or steel rectangular piece, (2). Each foot consists of two U-shaped pieces (5, 6). The packing case is made of a frame of similar material so that the upper horizontal edge of one box may support a pair of feet with one of the U members (6) inside the lower box and the other (5) on the outside. The feet are then individually latched onto the lower box by means of a wire hook and snatch lever so that the assembly may be pulled tight.
