Abstract

351,771. Hand-trucks. SCHOPPER, M., Solin, near Munich, Germany. July 21, 1930, No. 21959. [Class 108 (i).] In sack trucks having a sliding platform the winding ends of the bands 5 are secured to the axle 6 through a slot, a cottar pin securing the bent-over end of the band in position and a slotted sleeve 8 is pushed over the axle 6, the other ends of the bands 5 are secured to a member 9 adapted to screw into a member 9<1> secured to the sliding platform and the legs 4 are held and secured automatically in their closed position by a weighted latch 15 having a curved surface. The sliding platform is provided with rollers adapted to traverse runners or guides on the truck frame.
