Abstract
2906. Matgorzewicz, M., and Krysinski, J. Feb. 4. Locking sliding latches.-In the type of latch in which the bolt can be shot by a key beyond the latching position, the key is inserted into and turns within the handle spindle. The spindle D' is of square section and has secured to it the follower D<2>, which is journaled in the sides of the casing. The tail B' of the bolt and the levers H pass into a notch F<1> in the spindle, and are adapted to be operated by a flat key G from either side of the door. Wards G<3> for the key may be provided within the spindle.
