Abstract

30,142. Robson, S. M., and Harvey, A. C. Dec. 28. Locking nuts.-In a nut-locking washer of the kind having its periphery s u i t a b l y formed to be engaged by a spanner and having projections to enter the bolt - hole, these projections are reduced as shown at b, Fig. 2, and are so shaped as to project into the bolt-thread at two or more points a, Fig. 4. The projections may be in the same or different planes, parallel or inclined to the plane of the washer, and may be formed with teeth. The washer is preferably made of readily rusting material.
