Abstract

30,141. Robson, S. M., and Harvey, A. C. Dec. 28. Locking nuts.-In a nut-locking washer of the kind having a projection to take into the bolthole and a lug to be bent up against the side of the nut, the projection is formed of a semicircular wedge shape, as shown at 3, Figs. 1 and 2, while the outer end of the lug is somewhat bent so as to facilitate raising it. Or a small knob 5, Fig. 3, may be formed on the lug to cause it to bend up when screwing the nut down. There may be more than one projection 3 and more than one lug.
