Abstract
28,048. Liebrecht, E. Dec. 2. Exhaust, dealing with.-The exhaust is purified by imping- ing on water in the bottom of the chamber C<11> and then passing through layers of rock salt and a fibrous substance such as moss. These layers are contained between spring- pressed screens in the chamber c<12>. The inlet c<10> for the gases is connected to a passage D surrounding the chamber c<11>. Doors permit recharging and cleaning of the apparatus. In a modification, the layers are arranged above the water in one chamber.
