Abstract

217,049. Cyprzirsch, A. June 15, 1923. Thermo-electric batteries.- A thermo-electric battery having elements in the form of rings 6 is built into the walls of the exhaust box of an internal combustion engine. The exhaust box is of the type having an internal bell 2 to cause the gases to follow a zig-zag path from the inletpipe 1 to the discharge pipe 3. The elements of the pile may consist of strips of German silver- and zinc-antimony alloy.
