22,781. Converse, r. B. Oct. 1. Roundabouts; lifts. - Trollies t, supporting passenger cars h, are drawn along a vertical triangular rail track f, f<1> by chains passing over sprocket-wheels g, which are driven by electromotors through worm gearing, so that should the current fail the cars will not run back. The cars are hung on both sides of the track from axles mounted on the trollies t and are each rotated about a vertical axis by a separate motor. The sprocket-wheels g are adjustably mounted to regulate the chain tension.
