17,648. Lindner, M. March 12, [Convention date]. Lock mechanism, lever type; reversible locks.- The bolt is pivotally connected to a lever c pivoted on the key-pin b. The lever c is operable by the key through an intermediate lever g, pivoted to the coverplate a at f and having a slot e in engagement with a pin d on the lever c. The pin d also passes through the gatings h of the locking- levers, and co-operates therewith to secure the lever c. The bolt is detachably connected to the lever c to render the lock reversible for right and left handed doors, the bolt shank k screwing into a swivelling nut i on the lever. The edge-plate l is made separately from the cover-plate a to facilitate manufacture.
