Abstract
27,431. Busch, A. Nov. 28. Lock with lock-bolt operable by latch handle.- In a lock of the type in which the lock-bolt can be shot by a reverse movement of the latchhandle, the bolt is shot by means of a lever b pivoted in the case and operated by a cam d on the follower, the lever mechanism l being previously released by a second cam e on the follower. The bolt is withdrawn by a spring o when the handle is returned to its normal position. Latches, sliding.-The follower is in two interengaging parts h, i, the pins k, m for the handles being cast with or otherwise non - removably secured to the respective parts. In Fig. 3, the handle n is shown in one with the pin m. When the lock bolt is shot by the handle, the end of the lever b is in a position under the lever f actuating the latch and prevents this from being withdrawn.
