Abstract

11,483. Nydahl, E. r. May 15, 1909, [Convention date]. Cylinders receiving liquid fuel; water, supplying to cylinders.- In an engine having a vaporizer 1 with restricted passages 3 between it and the cylinder 2, the flow of mixed fuel and water through the nozzle 4 is opposed to the flow of air through the channels 3 from the cylinder during the compression stroke. The invention is particularly applicable to large vertical two-stroke-cycle engines.
