Abstract

7900. Leigh, A. G. April 1. [Addition to 1277/10.] Actuating valves and cocks.-Relates to a modification of the flushing-valves and apparatus described in the parent Specification. In the arrangement shown in Fig. 2, when the handle 13 is turned to the right the inlet 14 is connected to the pipe 15, and the cistern 25 is filled. When the float 23 is raised by the water this escapes by a pipe 16, and, by means of a projection 5 on the valve, turns the valve into the position shown in which water may also pass by the pipe 15 into the outlet 17.
