Abstract

3501. Beer, S. de, and Bayley, A. L. Feb. 12. Spray carburettors.-A sleeve c. which controls simultaneously the primary air and the mixture, has a lower reduced portion c' provided with a pearshaped opening f. This opening controls the flow of primary air through a passage, the maximum area of which is determined by an opening e in a sleeve d which may be adjusted by a tangent screw. The fuel nozzle may be of the type described in Specification 7212/08. The Provisional Specification also states that a mechanically-operated cock may be placed between the float and jet chambers.
