Lever-actuated pumps; stroke, varying.-In order to vary the water - supply to a gas-producer working in conjunction with a gas-engine, the water is delivered by a pump w actuated by a variable-motion lever L forming part of the variable-lift valve-gear of the engine. The gear comprises a cam, a constant-motion lever H, and a roller M adjusted by the governor.
