Abstract

1153. Yoxall, H. S., Wadhams, G., and Richmond, R. H. Jan. 17. Driving and like chains with separate joint pins.-The inner faces of the roller - carrying links are formed with a projecting central part of such section that only a small surface of metal at the centre of the link is in contact with the teeth of the chain-wheel. The middle part a<2> of the inner face of the link is curved transversely so as to project slightly into the tooth space. The projection may be pointed, and the inner face curved longitudinally.
