Breech actions, sliding breech-block; firing- applionces applicable generally. - Consists in providing the firing-pin r of an automatic smallarm of the type described in Specifications 20,568/08 and 3506/09, with a sliding cylindrical cap f<1> for enclosing the small coiled spring f already used in previous arrangements. This spring causes the firing- pin to rebound, and also acts as a buffer on the recoil of the breech-block. The cap f' is secured by a bayonet-joint.
