Tyre attachments to rims.-The edges of a tread band C are provided with clips D, to which are pivoted short bolts G passing through lugs I formed on the side flanges of the rim. The nuts on the bolts G and the parts of the lugs against which they bear are formed with spherical surfaces. The flanges have overhanging parts to protect the bolts from contact with kerbstones.
