15,207. Herrick, W. J. June 29. Clutches, claw.-A pawl, turning on a pivot 14 on a gear; wheel &c. 13, has a toe 22 engaging a slot 23 in the wheel and adapted to be moved in or out of engagement with a recess 17 in the driving shaft 11 by pivoted arms 26, 25, which are moved into the path of parts 16, 15 of the pawl arranged in different planes. A spring 19 is so arranged with respect to the pivot 14 as to keep the pawl in or out of engagement.
