Folding mangles and wringers.-The mangle is pivoted on a cross-bar 3, and when in use rests on a second bar 5, to which it is secured by means of a pivoted hook 6. The table 8 carries a rod 9 which passes through a boss 10 integral with another boss at right-angles thereto. This. second boss is freely mounted on a spindle 11<A> carried by the machine frame and provided with runners 12. To render the table operative, it is swung about the spindle and slid with respect to the boss 10; it may be held in the horizontal position by a catch 13 which engages a recess 14.
