The mangle is loosely mounted on a rod a passing longitudinally through the table frame, and is held in operative position by resting on the side of the table frame. When the washing and mangling appliances are not required, the mangle is slid along the rod and allowed to swivel down into the tank as shown in dotted lines. The table top is in two parts which may serve as mangle boards when required.
