Abstract

102,638. Lafourcade, A. B. Jan. 27, 1916. Washing-apparatus combined with and con. vertible into tables; wash-tubs; draining-appliances for washing.-Relates to a laundry clothes draining and drying appliance combined with a wash-tub and convertible into a table. A fourlegged stand 1, Fig. 1, has an upper frame 4 for supporting a draining-tray 13 with a sloping bottom and an upper reticulated clothes support 18. Upon a lower frame 3 normally rests a wash-tub 7 with a pair of legs 8 adapted to support it when drawn out, in which position slotted stop-plates at the rear of the tube may be engaged by sliding bolt-like members (not shown) upon the front legs of the stand. A mouth-shaped discharge end 17 of the draining-tray delivers into the extended tub. When the apparatus is not in use, a table top 6, Fig. 3, is fitted to the stand, apertures 5 therein taking over the upper ends of the legs.
