Honeycomb and like tube apparatus.-In internal-combustion engines in which the radiator or cooling-tank is mounted above the cylinder, the bottom of the tank is open, and has a seat adapted to fit a corresponding seat on the open top of the cylinder jacket. The radiator is fixed by a single bolt passing up from the cylinder head. The radiator may consist of two tanks a, a<1> connected by sidepassages h'. The upper tank a is connected to the top of the water-jacket by a pipe g, and the lower tank a<1> to the bottom of the waterjacket by pipes f. The side passages h<1> are perforated by air passages, and may be disposed obliquely so as to form a funnel.
