Abstract
197,478. Michelsen, H. C. March 20, 1922. Drawings to Specification. Cooling air, tubular apparatus for.-Air for cooling the cylinders of internal-combustion engines is cooled after passing through a blower by passing it upwards through a number of pipes arranged in front of the engine, and connected to headers at the top and bottom. In each pipe is provided a smaller pipe containing water which is circulated by convection to another header at the top, whence its passes downwards by a single pipe to a tank situated behind the lower portion of the air pipes.
