Bricks, special shapes of.-Concrete bricks for hollow walls are formed having a width equal to the thickness of the wall to be constructed and a thickness ranging from one-tenth to nine-twentieths of the width. The bricks are laid in the order shown in Fig. 2, namely, one header I and two stretchers E, F. In each course, the headers are arranged to come vertically above the middles of the stretchers in the next course below. The top of the wall is covered with a course of bricks R, S, T, laid flat in such a manner that their widths are perpendicular to the faces of the wall.
