4668. Gould, W. T. Feb. 25. Hinges readily separable about hinge pin.-A belt-fastening consists of two plates a, b, secured to the belt ends and pivoted together. The plate a is provided with lugs h having transverse grooves k, and connected by a circular bar i, with which engages a hook l on the plate b. The grooves allow the members to be uncoupled by sliding laterally on each other when the members are turned.
