Coupling-links.-A chain coupler is formed of two C-shaped pieces A, of which the smaller hook of each fits inside the larger hook of the other ; they are prevented from coming apart laterally by projections B on the smaller hooks engaging with apertures C in the larger hooks. The projections B may be provided with locking- pins D or latches, or they may be slightly riveted over.
