Brush-holders.-The spindles for carrying the brush-holders are made of metal tubing, which is expanded by a suitable tool into a socket on the rocker arm and also into the eye of a cross-connexion cable or terminal socket, a sleeve and washer of insulating-material being interposed between them. Alternatively, the brush-holder spindles may be solid, the sockets in the rocker arm and cross-connexion cable or terminal being shrunk on to the spindles.
