Abstract
15,143. Helps, G. July 17. Incandescent gas lamps.-The reflector a, globeholder, or the like is detachably carried by chains &c. f from a fixed part e of the gas fitting, and the burner is either rigid or carried by a flexible-<M>nnexion. Guards i, Fig. 3, attached to the burner or to the reflector or the like protect the mantle from any swinging movement. The Provisional Specification also states that the reflector, globe-holder, or the like may be fixed and the burner flexibly supported, and also that wire cages may be attached to the reflector.
