Overhead incandescent lamps.-The flue of an inverted incandescent gas lamp is provided with a detachable lower part a, which is made of enamelled sheet-iron or ceramic material and extends to the upper edge of the mantle tissue f. The part a is secured in position by pins g, g<1>, and the flue is provided with apertures d, d<1> and flanges which prevent the products of combustion from entering the mixing-chamber.
