Incandescent gas lamps; street lamps.-An inverted burner is carried by a chain F, Fig. 1, or the like, and is connected to a C-shaped pipe B, E, D, the vertical part of which includes the mixing- chamber C and flexible tubing E. The globe and the mantle may be arranged to be lowered away from the burner. In a cluster-burner lamp, the C-shaped pipe is replaced by a vertical pipe D, E, Fig. 2, connected to the central chamber supplying the burners.
