Incandescent gas lamps.-The flue A of an inverted lamp is made of perforated metal lined with transparent material B, s u c h as glass, mica, or translucent material, and is connected to the mixing-tube S by straight or curved narrow bars C carrying L-shaped pieces D, with which supporting- studs &c. on the chimney engage. The top of the flue may be fitted with, or may constitute a reflector. In a modification in which the bars C are curved upwards, the pieces D are #-shaped.
