28,014. Claussen, F. G. Dec. 13, 1905, [date applied for under Patents Act, 1901]. Fuel oils; mineral oils.-The admixture of light and heavy miteral oils or hydrocarbons in any proportions is effected by treating the mixture with sulphuric, hydrochloric, or other strong acid, and afterwards with zinc, lead, or other oxide adapted to precipitate the acid and decolorize the product. The process is adapted for the enrichment of benzine, benzol, gasoline, &c.
