128,917. U.S. Industrial Alcohol Co., (Assignees of Backhaus, A. A.). June 25, 1918, [Convention date]. Motor spirit intended particularly for aeroplanes consists of methyl, ethyl, butyl, or other alcohol, of at least 98 per cent strength, gasolene, naphtha, or other petroleum distillate, and benzol, toluol, or other aromatic hydrocarbon except turpentine. The prior use of a mixture of benzol, alcohol of 95 per cent strength, and a petroleum distillate, and of a mixture of benzine, turpentine, and alcohol of 99 per cent strength is acknowledged.
