Abstract

2515. H÷ppermann, E. Jan. 30, 1913, [Convention date]. Oils and spirits for burning. - A fuel for illuminating or power purposes is produced by combining three mixtures, namely, one of about 3¢ litres of petroleum distilled at 150-270‹ C., ¢ litre of benzine, and “ litre ligroin; a second of about 1/10 litre pure alcohol, 1/10 litre ligroin, and 40 drops of ether; and a third of 2/10 litre of 96 per cent spirit, 1/10 litre ligroin, and 25 drops petroleum ether. 10 drops of oil of Neroli are added. The benzine may be increased at the expense of the petroleum. A more powerful fuel is obtained by the addition of 0À5 litre benzol and 0À25 litre naphthalene.
