Tourniquets.-A fastening-device for tourniquets consists of a pair of yokes a fixed together by the bars b, c, the former of which carries a loose roller d, and the latter a swinging bar f, the ends f<1> of which work in slots g in the yokes a. One end of the tourniquet band is secured to the bar c, and the other end, having been placed round the limb, is threaded between the bars f, band pulled tight, after which the bar f is forced down as shown in Fig. 2 to grip the band.
