Braces.-A metal clip for securing brace tabs to buckles is formed of a central plate A, Fig. 3, V-shaped at one or both ends and having an internal tongue a which can pass through the material to engage in the contracted end of the central opening and be bent over when the clip has been bent to the required shape as shown in Fig. 2. A separate opening to receive the tang may be formed in the back end of the plate, or the tang end may be bent on itself as shown in Fig. 12 to engage in a recessed end of the plate. In a further form, the V-end is used as a tang and engages with the recessed back end of the plate. The clip and tang are fluted or concave on the back and on the convex face.
