Attaching articles to wearing-apparel. -A button - hole device for holding key chains &c. comprises a plate a, Fig. 3, having a half-ring, loop, or staple c to receive the spring hook of the chain, the loop c being surrounded by a socket b, which is integral with the plate a and is flanged to form a groove d for engagement with the edges of the button-hole. The socket b may carry the loop c and be attached to the plate a, Fig. 4, by screwing.
