Gas stoves.-The incandescent gas fire B is contained within a casing A, and is fitted with an outlet tube C leading the products of combustion first to an expansion-chamber E', and then to the top chamber A, side flues F, and bottom chamber A<3>. The gases pass upwards again through the tubes F<1>, while the liquid which condenses out passes through an opening H to a tray I. A space is arranged between the chamber A<3> and the bottom A' of the fire, to allow free passage of air for ventilation purposes. When an argand gas burner is employed, the shape of the central expansion-chamber, and the number of side tubes F, F' are modified.
