Air-heating stoves; gas and oil heating stoves. -A stove comprises an air-heating chamber b having a base. b<1> of inverted conical form and surrounded by a corrugated jacket a. The gases from a solid, liquid, or gaseous fuel heating- device arranged below the base b<1> pass up the annular space between the chamber and jacket and thence through a hollow top plate to a flue d' arranged in an upper compartment. Air passes into the chamber b by inclined tubes e and thence bv tubes f to the upper compartment from which it passes to the room. The lower part of the casing is provided with mica-covered openings c.
