Air-heating stoves, gas.-An incandescent gas stove is arranged with a chamber c behind and above the grate, through which pass airheating tubes d placed in the path of the hot gases, which issue into the chimney flue at c<1>. One of the tubes d contains a smaller open tube d<1> kept supplied with water by a small cistern. The hot air passes into the room through the gauge e<3> and grating e<2>. The e short pipe c<2> is provided with a loose lid, and serves to minimize the effect of an accidental explosion of gas in the chamber c.
