Fig. 2 shows one arrangement in the'tween decks. Longitudinal bulkheads e, e are placed at each side of the hatchways between the transverse bulkheads g, g<1>. Other cross bulkheads h and j are placed as shown, forming compartments i, k, and k<1>. Access to the compartments i is had through doors h and to the others through hatchways k<2>. Slight modifications in the arrangement of the bulkheads may be made.
