7009. Senking, A. April 1. Gas cooking-stoves.-The stove consists of two parts which are readily separable from each other, namely, a plate for cooking purposes and a roasting- oven. The stove plate a is provided with hooks e which fit into eyes f upon the oven c; or other methods of fastening may be employed. The plate is provided with one or more burners, and the oven may be heated by the waste gases therefrom. The oven may comprise a roasting- chamber h, and may have a griller i or warming- compartment underneath the same. In the construction shown, the products of combustion pass up a side flue into the flue m. The combustion products from the burners k pass through the roasting-chamber, and then, by means of the deflector n, they pass forward into the flue m. The plate may be connected at either the right or left hand side of the oven. The legs d, o of the oven and the plate may be made removable so as to render the stove more easily transportable.
