Abstract
19,955. Bartenstein, C. Aug. 30. Lamp shades, globes, reflectors, and holders therefor.-An adapter for holding a screwcapped electric incandescent lamp and a reflector, shade, or globe, in a plain holder, is constructed as shown in section. The cap d of the lamp is screwed into a tube b, attached to the adapter a, which fits the ordinary holder. An insulated bolt a makes the central connection. The reflector is clamped on the adapter by a flanged ring i, screwed on the tube b. The adapter a may be of the same size as the lamp cap, as shown, or the tube b may be of a size to receive a small capped lamp. The adapter may be modified for bayonet-joint lamps and holders, and the ring i may be secured by a bayonet-joint instead of a screw.
