The cylinders are arranged around and parallel with the driving-shaft L, which carries a cam H with grooves h to suit either a two-stroke or four-stroke cycle, in which work rollers g, g<1> on the piston-rods v, v<1>. The valve T on the end of the shaft L has an admission port b<1> and ignition port bll.
