Facing-tiles.-A sheet of glass A having one face B roughened by acid or sand blasting, has one or more layers of paint C applied to the roughened surface, and whilst the paint is tacky a layer D of coarse canvas, netting, loose fabric or similar material, is laid on the paint. The tile is backed by a layer E of Keen's or other cement, the plastic outside face of which is scored or otherwise roughened.
