Hoods.-A lintel flat A for a vehicle hood is provided with a tubular hem A<2> along its upper edge, through which a web or cord B is drawn, the hem being notched at the parts A<3> which lie against the hood-sticks C<2> so that the web or cord so exposed can be attached to the hoodsticks and thus secure the flap to the hood C. The lower rear part of the flap is secured to the flexible sides of the rear portion of the hood by elastic tabs. If desired, the web straps which connect the hood sticks together can be used instead of a separate web or cord.
