217,903. Wertheim, E. June 19, 1923, [Convention date]. Mud-guards.-The flexible flaps or extensions for the front and rear mud-guards of cycles are formed of rubber having a resilient transverse strip of metal &c. vulcanized therein. The rubber layers and the strip may also be secured together by metal eyelets, and the upper end of the flap may be provided with holes or slots for an attachment band.
